A New Day for Gift Planning

Kyle Daniels

Major and Planned Gifts Officer, Wabash College

Kyle Daniels is the Major and Planned Gifts Officer at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN.

Before landing his new role, Kyle was the Planned Giving Coordinator at the Field Museum in Chicago. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Chicago State University in Business Administration and Marketing. Also, he's pursuing a CAP (Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy) designation with The American College of Financial Services.

Kyle's passion for philanthropy evolved throughout his prior 10-year career at J.P. Morgan, where he specialized in Donor Advised Funds and handled marketing for JPM's Chicago Volunteer Leadership Group. After a strong desire to work with other charitable giving vehicles, he transitioned into the non-profit world. During his time at the Field, Kyle assisted with the launch of the Museum's Charitable Gift Annuity program and has also co-produced video projects on estate planning — with topics ranging from Charitable Gift Annuities, Wills, Beneficiary Designations and Revocable Trusts.

In his first year as a planned giving professional, Kyle was awarded as a scholarship recipient of two national conferences. The 2019 Hibel National Conference Scholarship — for the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP) conference in New Orleans. Also, the 2020 Terry L. Simmons Scholarship — for the American Council on Gift Annuities (ACGA) conference in Atlanta.
