Assistant Director of Gift Planning, Nebraska Community Foundation
Emily Sulzle spends her days helping individuals, families and businesses implement charitable gift plans to support the community-building mission of Nebraska Community Foundation and the 270 rural hometowns it serves across the state. She believes that small communities and their abundant local assets — financial, human, or otherwise — are key to building a stronger, more attractive, welcoming, and progressive Nebraska.
Sulzle's background in planned giving started at the University of Nebraska Foundation. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Administration. Sulzle enjoys road trips, practicing yoga, running (very slowly), and spending time with her four children — Aurora, Olivia, Samuel, and Elijah.
