With a little over 20 years' experience as a dedicated gift planner, Marc Littlecott leads a two-person team at South Dakota State University, averaging between $30-35m in new, documented planned gifts each year for the small, midwestern university. Prior to 2014, he worked 14 years for The Salvation Army in their planned giving program.
He was Treasurer & Secretary for the former Charitable IRA Initiative, which produced and lobbied the bill for expansion of the Charitable IRA Rollover to include CGA's and CRT's, and serves on the editorial board of Planned Giving Today magazine. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and prior to his nonprofit career spent time as a US Army Reserve officer.
